  • Joe Jackman

    Joe is the President of Almag Aluminum, an award winning, service driven, custom aluminum extruder based in Brampton ON with plants in Ardmore and Florence AL.  Over the past 68 years ALMAG has built a reputation as an industry leader in extruding high-visual, tight tolerance, thin-walled, and complex aluminum extrusions. The ALMAG Group has over 450 employees and serves customers all over North America.

    Joe graduated from Lakehead University with a Bachelor of Administration Degree and Durham College with a Business Administration Diploma – both majoring in Accounting with a minor in Marketing.  He enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife Cara and raising their three beautiful children who keep them busy.

    Joe has been with the ALMAG Group for over 16 years and has held the positions of Territory Manager, VP Sales & Marketing and General Manager.  As President, he is responsible for leading the company’s strategic direction and driving its continued growth and success. 

    Joe has over 10 years of experience in the banking industry as well as significant experience in sales, project management and change management.  He has a keen passion-for-progress and desire to find solutions.  He thrives on challenges and raising people to their higher potential.

    Joe is a member of the Board of Directors for the Aluminum Extruders Council (AEC) as well as a member of both the AEC-Academic Engagement Team and the AEC Marketing Team.


  • Bob Peacock

    Bob is the CEO of Almag Aluminum, an award-winning, service-driven, custom aluminum extruder based in Brampton, with plants in Ardmore and Florence, Alabama.   A family owned business started by his father, Almag has grown steadily over its 68 year history.

    Bob graduated from the Mechanical Engineering program at the University of Waterloo in 1984 and earned his MBA from York University in 1989.  He has a wonderful wife, Deb, who is CEO of the Peacock Household, and 2 active children who are both currently living and working in British Columbia.

    Bob has been active on a number of Boards, including Rotary, the Brampton Board of Trade, and the Aluminum Extruders Council, an Industry Trade Association.  He is presently the Chair of the William Osler Health System Foundation and is a Director of a Cottage Association.

  • In 2018 Sheridan welcomed a new fearless leader who worked her way up not only at Sheridan, but in her profession in academia. Janet Morrison served as Provost and Vice President prior to her current role with Sheridan. Prior to her appointment at Sheridan she spent 17 years in various roles at York University. Janet is fiercely passionate about student success and community engagement. Sheridan and the Brampton are very luck to have her.
