Marketing Manager

Who we’re looking for:

In this exciting opportunity, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the development and execution of the marketing plan to increase our brand awareness and help engage our current and future members.

What You Can Do:
  • Ensure our brand is consistently and effectively communicated
  • Develop and manage a marketing and communications calendar
  • Collaborate across departments to help support and develop marketing ideas
  • Write engaging copy for newsletters, blogs, and publications alongside subject matter experts
  • Create and manage content on our social media channels and website
  • Connect with our members to capture and tell their stories on our platforms
  • Work with our events team to create collateral and graphics
  • Ensure effective and efficient delivery of campaigns that are on-time and within budget
  • Measure post campaign results and develop recommendations to improve and advance future initiatives
What You Are:
  • Detail oriented, highly organized and able to prioritize multiple projects in fast-paced work environment with changing priorities and strict deadlines
  • Passionate about storytelling getting people to connect with a message
  • A team player, able to influence, build relationships and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Digitally savvy and up to date on social media and digital trends
  • An energetic, forward-thinking and creative individual

What You Have:

  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing strategy, digital marketing, events management, graphic design and video creation/editing
  • Post-secondary education in marketing or related field
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Cloud: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Adobe Premiere Pro/Rush or Final Cut Pro
  • Experience with digital communication and social media software, Constant Contact, WordPress, Survey Monkey, Buffer)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office applications; namely Sharepoint, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Previous experience working in a member-based organization
  • Access to a vehicle and are able to travel within Brampton
