The 2023 Series will kick-off with the Municipal Advocacy Issues Forum scheduled for April 25th, 2023.

 

 

April 25th – Municipal Issues Forum (in-person)

Join the Brampton Board of Trade in conversation with our City and Regional Councillors on Tuesday, April 25th to talk about the municipal issues that matter most to your business success. A moderated discussion will focus on the city’s fiscal health and property tax implications, signature projects like Riverwalk and Heritage Heights, as well as transit and other local infrastructure needs including the Main Street LRT Extension, Queen Street Bus Rapid Transit and a third hospital. Members of Council will be available to take audience questions and network after the event.

May 25th – Joint Federal and Provincial Issues Forum (in-person)

Join the Brampton Board of Trade in conversation with our federal Members of Parliament (MPs) as well as local Members of Provincial Parliament (MPPs) on Thursday, May 25th to talk about the federal and provincial issues that matter most to your business success. A moderated discussion will focus on the business climate, including taxes and regulation, opportunities to expand interprovincial and international trade, the emerging innovation economy and how the provincial and federal governments can help to foster it, as well as key infrastructure needs including a third hospital and transit infrastructure such as the Main Street LRT.  MPs and MPPs will be available to take audience questions and network after the event.
