A core service of the Brampton Board of Trade is representing business interests and advocating for government decisions that encourage business investment and growth. As part of our advocacy initiatives, we invite key Ministers from all levels of government to discuss issues of importance to Brampton’s business community.

The Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing oversees many policy areas of direct relevance to Brampton businesses. The discussion will include land using planning, such as the overall growth plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe, the Ontario Building Code, policy pertaining to the housing market and rental rules, and oversight of Ontario’s municipalities, including the city council and many other important areas.
