FINANCIAL SUPPORTS FOR BUSINESSES/NOT-FOR-PROFITS
This grant provides eligible small businesses with a one-time grant of $10,000 (minimum) up to $20,000 to help cover decreased revenue expected as a result of the Provincewide Shutdown. For more information, please see the Ontario Small Business Support Grant User Guide.
Eligible small businesses could receive rebates for property taxes and energy costs, including electricity and natural gas.
Businesses with 2 to 9 employees in the following sectors may be eligible for a one time grant of up to $1,000 to purchase PPE supplies: retail, accommodation and food services, repair and maintenance, personal and laundry services, and gyms and yoga studios.
Businesses, non-profit organizations, and charities may be eligible for a subsidy to cover part of their commercial rent or property expenses starting on September 27, 2020 until June 2021.
Employers may be eligible for a subsidy to cover part of their employee wages. There is a CEWS calculator available to help businesses determine the amount of CEWS they may be eligible for.
Interest-free loans of up to $60,000 for small businesses and not-for-profit organizations to help cover operating costs. Businesses who repay the balance of the loan by December 31, 2022 will receive loan forgiveness for a portion of their loan. Businesses have until March 31, 2021 to apply for CEBA. The RRRF provide liquidity support to businesses and not-for-profit organizations affected by the economic impacts of COVID-19 that are unable to access other federal relief measures or require additional support.
BACP provides businesses of all sizes, sectors, and regions with assistance to address the financial impacts of COVID-19.
Through this program, Farm Credit Canada helps businesses with cash flow challenges. Existing members of Farm Credit Canada can ask for deferrals of principal and interest payments up to 6 months or a deferral of principal payments of up to 12 months.
