    Brampton, ON - The Brampton Board of Trade is excited to announce that Todd Letts, CEO, has been elected to serve on the WCF General Council. The World Chambers Federation (WCF) of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC)  is the backbone of the global chamber community, uniting the world-wide network of local, regional, national, and bilateral chambers.
    ICC members from more than 100 countries were called to vote last November and elected their twenty preferred chamber leaders to serve on the WCF General Council (2020-2022). ICC is the world's largest business organization, representing more than 45 million companies in over 100 countries. The core mission is to make business work for everyone, every day, everywhere.
    "Local businesses are excited to have Todd represent both Brampton and Canada on the world stage. His insight and experience will contribute greatly to the work of the World Chambers Federation." says, Vanessa White, Chair of the Brampton Board of Trade.
    Members of the WCF General Council represent business interests at the highest levels of intergovernmental decision-making, whether at the World Trade Organization, the United Nations or the G20 ensuring the voice of business is heard. It is this capacity to bridge the public and private sectors that sets WCF apart as a unique organization, responding to the needs of any player involved in international commerce.

  • In 2018 Sheridan welcomed a new fearless leader who worked her way up not only at Sheridan, but in her profession in academia. Janet Morrison served as Provost and Vice President prior to her current role with Sheridan. Prior to her appointment at Sheridan she spent 17 years in various roles at York University. Janet is fiercely passionate about student success and community engagement. Sheridan and the Brampton are very luck to have her.
