No matter what stage we are in our career, education, or life in general, the urge to start fresh is strong at this time of year. Brampton Library is here to help. In our branches around the city and online at bramptonlibrary.ca, everyone is invited to access free avenues to self-improvement.

Have you been to (Brampton) Library lately? Stepping into a branch, the first thing you may see is people working---singly or collaboratively, at tables, plugged into complimentary WiFi, perhaps on their own device, or one that they have borrowed from the service desk. You may notice our MakerSpaces (at Chinguacousy, Springdale and Four Corners branches), where people are using top grade equipment to scan or digitize documents, pictures and video; or accessing 3D printers, vinyl cutters and even an audio recording studio.

When you are ready to take your business incubation to the next level, the Co-Working Space at Chinguacousy Branch Library is a great option. There’s a waiting list for the guided collaboration from 9:00 -10:00 am, but everyone is invited from 10:00 to 5:00 to be in the zone and learn from each other. For details about the Co-Working Space at Chinguacousy and a vast array of free registered and drop-in prog
rams across Brampton Library’s seven branches, pick up the latest copy of Inspiring Connections magazine, a monthly branch calendar or go online and search Brampton Library’s Calendar of Events at bramptonlibrary.ca. Coming this fall, Brampton Library’s eighth branch will open in a busy retail space at 8405 Financial Drive.

Our website is your back-to-school fix in itself. To select from any of our free digital products, click Digital Library at bramptonlibrary.ca. All of this is to say, don’t hold back! Brampton Library has everything you need to succeed at school, or sustain your lifelong learning. Ask us a question, give us a try and be a part of it. Our resources are for everyone and there are opportunities to give back as a volunteer, or by making a donation. Together we are inspiring connections in Brampton.
