The 2023 Series will kick-off with the Federal Advocacy Issues Forum scheduled for March 15th, 2023.

 

 

March 15th – Federal Issues Forum (in-person)

Join the Brampton Board of Trade in conversation with our federal Members of Parliament on Wednesday, March 15 to talk about the federal issues that matter most to your business success. A moderated discussion will focus on the business climate (such as taxes and regulation), opportunities to expand trade domestically and internationally, and the importance of securing federal support for growth-enabling infrastructure in Brampton. MPs will be available to take audience questions and network after the event.

April 25th – Municipal Issues Forum (in-person)

Join the Brampton Board of Trade in conversation with our City and Regional Councillors on Tuesday, April 25th to talk about the municipal issues that matter most to your business success. A moderated discussion will focus on the city’s fiscal health and property tax implications, signature projects like Riverwalk and Heritage Heights, as well as transit and other local infrastructure needs including the Main Street LRT Extension, Queen Street Bus Rapid Transit and a third hospital. Members of Council will be available to take audience questions and network after the event.
