Manager, Events & Communications
The Manager, Events & Communications is responsible for driving revenue through engagement of businesses in the Board of Trade. This involves communications that encourage event attendance, membership, and sponsorship. This position supervises a number of volunteer committees.
The position is also actively engaged with the membership ensuring that their opinions and recommendations are brought forward to the Board’s committee structure.
Business Development Manager
The Member Development Manager is responsible for engaging new Board members by prospecting the community. Through visits and calls, this position will inform potential new members of the benefits of joining the Board of Trade and obtain a commitment for annual memberships. This position entails tasks such as preparing prospecting forecasts and ensuring that membership targets are met on a monthly basis. There is an overall understanding at the Board that everyone works together as a team and as such, other clerical tasks may be assigned to meet project deadlines.
